The April edition of Motor Boat & Yachting is out now!

In the April edition we take a closer look at the latest breed of innovative steel boats, from the radical Steeler FF46 to the sleek Boarnstream E1300

The April edition of Motor Boat & Yachting goes on sale today and this month we’re focussing on steel boats.

Often derided as the traditionalist’s choice, steel has many benefits from its strength to its rigidity, and now a new crop of Dutch models are showing that it can be used to create some truly striking designs.

The first in our trio of Dutch masters is the Jetten 50 MPC Fly, which combines the looks of a GRP boat with super-tough steel construction.

Next up, we take a test drive of the Steeler FF46 – a truly radical flat-floor design, which tears up the rulebook.

We also get on board the Boarnstream Elegance 1300, the first in a new range of sedan models from this venerable yard.
