2009 Motor Boat of the Year AwardsGarmin Outstanding Service Award now open We are now accepting nominations for the 2009 Garmin Outstanding Service Award. If you've received great service from a company in the marine industry then we want to hear about it. Simply fill in our online nomination form, stating the name of the company and why you think it deserves to be recognised as offering the best customer service available. The shortlisted entrants will appear here on 5th January, with the winner announced at the award ceremony on 12th January. About the Awards The Motor Boat of the Year Awards are back for their third year and this year will recognise and celebrate great design, superb performance and innovation in the production of motor boats. The judging will take place over ten categories, from Ribs and sportsboats to Custom Yachts over 70 feet. The judging panel is made up from the editorial test teams of Motor Boats Monthly, Motor Boat & Yachting and Custom Yachting. To be nominated, boats must have been tested by the magazines and be available for sale in the UK. This year IPC is proud to announce that electronics manufacturer Garmin Europe has signed up as a sponsor for the event. The company will support the Awards and the evening ceremony that takes place during Excel London Boat Show. This time the Awards will be held at The Waldorf Hotel, London on Monday 12th January 2009. There is also a Garmin Outstanding Service Award which is from decided by visitors to ybw.com and will be presented by the Awards’ sponsor, Garmin Europe.
