Sea-Doo Spark

There’s a whole lot of fun to be had on a good PWC on a blazing hot day with clear skies and nothing but blue water to carve up.

If you’re more of a speed demon, a paddleboard or kayak simply isn’t going to get your pulse racing so why not invest in one of the market’s most successful PWCs to date?

Chances are if you’ve spotted a bright coloured PWC on the water it may well have been from Sea-Doos impressive stable of craft and this model is its most successful to date, and most attractively priced. Lightweight, more affordable, relatively compact and heaps of fun to drive – the Sea-Doo Spark was the only choice of PWC for our MBY Cool 50.

It weighs 184kg, costs £4,999, is designed for beginners and is easy to use and responds directly. Whether you like to cruise in pairs or hit the water in threes, the Sea-Doo Spark is available in two-person and three-person configurations and comes with a 60hp Rotax 900 ACE engine or a 90hp version. Riders will enjoy more agility with the higher output engine and the shorter two-person length.

The open skeleton design keeps only the essential structural parts in place to ensure the unit is as lightweight as possible but engineering is still solid and rugged as ever.

The Sea-Doo Spark Trixx model is a sportier option best suited to tricksters. It boasts an adjustable handlebar, a variable trim system to improve range and ride comfort, footholds at the back for wheelie- esque tricks and intelligent brake in reverse (IBR) function as standard. The IBR function can be added to the Spark models.

Providing they’re not zooming around peaceful anchorages, MBY HQ is a fan of blowing the cobwebs off
with a PWC and the Spark is a fantastic option.
