Sacs Marine launches Strider 19 – the world’s largest tender

Italian firm Sacs Marine has claimed that its latest model, the 60ft Strider 19, is the world’s largest tender

Measuring in at 60ft long, with two cabins and room for 22 people to relax on the deck, the Strider 19 from Sacs Marine would be more than enough motorboat for most people.

However this mammoth tender, billed as the world’s largest, has been built to be launched from a 77-metre superyacht.

Interior styling is courtesy of Italian designer Christian Grande and can be fully customised to suit the owner’s needs.

The extra-wide helm station allows up to four people to sit alongside in leather armchairs and navigation equipment is provided by Raymarine.

But don’t let the creature comforts fool you; this is a high-performance RIB at heart, as shown by the beefy sponsons and plentiful horsepower.

Boasting twin Caterpillar 1,150hp engines, the Strider 19 can hit a top speed of 50 knots thanks to its low centre of gravity and deep-V hull, as designed by New Zealand studio Naiad.

So far there is no word on the price, or if it will be made available for public viewings prior to delivery. For more pictures of the Sacs Marine Strider 19, the world’s largest tender, click on the slideshow above.
