Coronet 32
Builder: Botved Boats, then Burmeister & Wain, of Denmark.
Built: Between about 1968 and 1983
MBY tested: October 1979
Dimensions: LOA 30ft 3in (9.22m), beam 10ft 8in (3.25m),
draught 2ft 6in (0.75m), displacement 3.6 tons
General: offshore flybridge cruiser with accommodation for
four in cabin and saloon, plus two more under
canopy in large cockpit
Power: Twin petrol or diesel inboards, shaftdrive or
outdrive, between 2 x 200hp and 2 x 280hp.
Price guide: £18,000-£30,000
Surveyor's notes: Generous daytime space at the expense of sleeping accommodation makes this a good weekender for four/six, but rather cramped for more extended cruising. Typical Scandinavian attention to woodwork means interior joinery should not have suffered. Check engines: access was difficult and routine servicing may have been neglected.
