- Spring Tides
The constant movement of water around our planet is caused by the gravitational
pull of the sun and moon. When they are on the same side or opposite sides
of the earth, they cause larger movements of water known as spring tides.

Spring tides happen two or three days after a new moon or a full moon. |

If high water is in the middle of the day it is a spring tide. |
