Beneteau's new foray into the sportscruiser market looks set for success

At 37ft and looking every inch the dashing sportscruiser with its red hull and shapely side screens, Beneteau’s new Monte Carlo was always going to be a star of this year’s show. But a £150,000 inc VAT price tag makes it quite sensational and effectively rewrites the rulebook on boat values in this class. The fit out is a little sparse in places but at the same time it is also clean, contemporary and practical. And just to make the competition sweat that little bit more, the clever, centre-line mid cabin is so good it has to be considered one of the best in this class.

See below for an interview with Beneteau’s product manager, where he explains how the 37 fits into the upcoming Monte Carlo range.
