12 new boats you have to see at Southampton Boat Show

With the Southampton Boat Show now only a matter of weeks away, we round up the 12 new boats that will be topping the bill

Nordhavn 64 - port bow

Nordhavn 64

A new Nordhavn is much like a new Porsche – you can pretty much guess what it’s going to look on the outside, but that’s only half of the story.

This globetrotting trawler yacht is the preserve of round-the-world veterans and its 425hp John Deere can carry you 3,000 miles without needing to stop for fuel.

Quicksilver Captur 905 Pilothouse

A fast fishing boat with no shortage of creature comforts, the new arrival from Quicksilver can be fitted with up to 350hp, delivered via a Mercury Verado outboard.

And despite measuring a shade under 28ft, the clever layout means ten can come along for the ride and six can stay overnight.

Williams Sportjet 400

Williams Sportjet 400

King of the jet-powered tenders, Williams is a Great British success story and their newest model, the Sportjet 400 looks set to continue that theme.

It may only have 125hp on tap, but the lightweight design and clever hull means this runabout can hit a punchy 39 knots.

PRINCESS S65 EXTERIOR

Princess S65 (and V58 Open)

We’ve saved the best until last, as Princess Yachts is bringing two brand new models along to Southampton this year.

First up is the second model in the Plymouth yard’s sportsbridge range, the S65 (pictured above). Highlights include a four-cabin layout and a top speed of around 38 knots.

As if that wasn’t enough, Princess fans can also ogle the brand new V58 Open (below), which has been tantalisingly billed as “the first in the next generation of Princess high-performance sports yachts.”
