Boaters visiting the Palma Boat Show in Mallorca this month may be interested to hear of a new website for English speakers.
The show's official website can be difficult to navigate, and indeed find, for non-Spanish speakers.
The new website www.palmaboatshow.com has been launched by British photographer Geoff Williamson, who is based in Mallorca and has posted some of his images on the site as additional temptation for anyone thinking of going!
The show, from April 28 to May 6, features many of the major manufacturers as well as some smaller local yards producing interesting craft. There is also a range of charter operations and other firms from across the Balearics and wider Med.
Among the big launches this year is the new Menorquin 145. For more on the boat and the show see the current and forthcoming issues of MBY.
Geoff says: "In response to comments from some exhibitors and others I have endeavoured to produce an anglophile friendly guide to the show, with exhibitor details, layout plans, press releases and images from previous shows.
"Over the next couple of weeks the website will carry specific exhibition details (boats on show etc for major exhibitors) and relevant press releases."
