The boat show formally known as RIBEX has undergone some big changes for 2012 - it's now known as The Powerboat and RIB Show, will be held at Gunwharf Quays and will be free to visit.
The 13-year-old event has previously been held in Weymouth, Southampton and Cowes, but organisers are hoping a move to Gunwharf in Portsmouth will "elevate it to the next level".
With the name change comes a change in focus; instead of just RIBs, this year the show, on from May 11-13, is opening to all powerboats up to 45ft
And with free entry, organisers said they're expecting between 80,000-100,000 visitors.
Organiser Hugo Montgomery-Swan said: "This is an incredibly exciting time and both the change of name and free entry really marks a huge step in the evolution of the show.
"The new venue will be a great benefit to visitors, who will be able to take advantage of Gunwharf Quays' many shops, restaurant and entertainment venues while they are at the show."

Not true there is a huge car park in Gunwarf shopping centre, direct trains from London and south coast.

There is only ONE great problem with moving RIBEX to Gunwarf Quays. THERE IS NO PARKING so anyone going will have to park as far away as Cosham or even Havant and the use the train. IT will be absolute chaos
