On-water berthing, boat handling and man overboard tuition available free of charge on first come basis

Motor Boat & Yachting | Southampton Boat Show

Visitors to September's PSP Southampton Boat Show will have the opportunity to hone their boat-handling skills in on-water workshops arranged by the RYA.

The Active Marina Experience will be run every day of the show and will see people taken out on a Sunsail yacht, Jeanneau Prestige 32 motor boat or Suzuki-powered RIB, in sessions running from 11am-5pm.

The workshops available include berthing, boat handling and what to do in a man overboard situation.

To get one of the limited spaces on board, book at the Try-a-Boat stand (A140) when you arrive at the show. Sessions cannot be booked in advance.

There are also shore-based workshops available, ranging from engine basics to radar operation.

These are an hour long and can be booked in advance by emailing bookings@which-marina.com or by calling +44 (0)1784 223 816.
