Acapulco 55 concept from Sessa designer Christian Grande

56-metre Acapulco 55 superyacht will hit 32 knots flat out, according to designers

Though very much still a concept we just had to show you these pictures of this new Acapulco 55 by Sessa designer Christian Grande.

What a spectacular piece of design, and this is only in rendering form.

The 56m (183ft 7in) superyacht is high-performance, jet-driven machine with the option of either single 4,000hp, twin 2,400hp or triple 2,600hp engines. Flat out it is capable of the 32 knots and will happily cruise at 28 knots, according to the designers.

We especially like the look for that sweeping foredeck area with its spcaious lounging area and hot tub forward.

The interior is predictably lavish with lashings of white leather and muted tones throughout; the owner’s cabin is likely to be large and treated to excellent water-level views thanks to those big hull windows.

Let’s just hope someone puts at Acapulco 55 into production.

Length 183ft 7in (56m)
Beam 32ft 8in (10m)
