Six boats have been destroyed by an arson attack in Norfolk.

Six boats have been destroyed by an arson attack in Norfolk. Smoke and flames were spotted coming from the boats, moored next to the National Trust’s Horsey Mill, early on Wednesday morning.

Two fire engines tackled the blaze, while a Broads Authority ranger used his boat to lay booms across the entrance to the mooring site to prevent debris and oil escaping into the river network.

Norfolk Police have launched an investigation into the fire and are asking for anyone with information to contact them at Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
