Azimut 64 takes over from the hugely successful 62E

Azimut Yachts will present the new 64 to the world over the autumn boat show season.

The new model is a replacement for the popular 62E, a boat which has held great success for Azimut during its production run.

Style changes are subtle like the smoother window lines in the saloon and larger hull windows but they do a good job of freshening up the boat’s appearance.

On the flybridge a new slim dash design aims to adhere to the contemporary, slick style cues which are the signature of the 64.

It’s not just the outside where the designers have been busy, behind the scenes generous swathes of carbon fibre have been brought in to keep weight down but add rigidity to the structure.

The 64 has also jumped up a CE Category compared to the old 62E to Category ‘A’ status.

The standard fit of twin Seakeeper gyroscope stabilisers is also bound to make passages and anchorages all the more pleasant.

The Azimut 64 will be shown at both the Cannes Boat Show in September and the Genoa Boat Show in October.
