Whyte and Mackay have introduced a cocktail, called The Spirit of the Water, to celebrate their assocation with the Earls Court Boat Show.
They call the drink a “classic whisky cocktail to be elegantly served in an Art Deco martini glass”.
Understandably, they advise it is made using Whyte & Mackay’s own blended Special double matured whisky.
Recipe ‘Spirit of the Water’
Garnish: Maraschino cherry with orange twist.
Method: Stir all ingredients with ice and fine strain into a chilled glass.
2 shots Whyte & Mackay Special.
1 shot Sweet (rosso) Vermouth.
4 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters.
