Briefing Day

Its briefing day and there is fine weather forecast for a channel crossing tomorrow.

Saturday 10th June

Day 1

Position – Royal Clarence Marina, Gosport

With all 23 boats assembled, crews gathered in Royal Clarence Marina for the inaugural cruise briefing at 1830. Neale Byart, Cruise Leader had good news for the fleet, the weather is looking really good for a flat crossing tomorrow to Cherbourg. The forecast for tomorrow is Force 1 to 2’s out in the Solent and The Channel. Superb news!

When the briefing was over a pre-organised pontoon party assembled. The wine was flowing and spirits were high, as crews mingled for the first time.
But it was early to bed for the MBM team as it was going to be an early start in the morning.
