Earthrace on UK tour

Your chance to see the new world record holder

Earthrace was set to arrive at Lowestoft’s Heritage Quay on Friday 1 August at the start of a tour of the UK.

The biofuelled boat broke the Round the World Powerboat Record on 27 June, circling the globe in 60 days.

Members of the international crew, including two British men, are on board for the UK tour, to continue spreading the message about the potential for biofuels.

The entire Earthrace project is billed as carbon neutral, with team members’ flights offset by investing in ecological schemes.

Earthrace was hosted in Lowestoft by ASAP Marine Supplies, who provided equipment for the world record bid, and Waveney District Council.
