Fairline adds fixed hardtop option to Squadron 78 Custom

New GRP roof incorporates large electrically sliding sunroof

Fairline says it has responded to customer demand by adding a fixed hardtop option to its top-of-the-range Squadron 78 Custom.

The £69,500 extra incorporates a large electrically sliding canvas section, giving owners the best of both worlds – a closed roof when needed and an unobstructed view of the sky when not.

The first Squadron 78 Custom with this addition has already been handed over to its owner, and the second left Fairline’s test facility in Ipswich last week.

Fairline CEO Kevin Gaskell said: “We are very excited to be launching a hardtop version of the Squadron 78 Custom, a model that has proved to be the most successful in its category.

“The new roof makes this world-beating luxurious boat even more suited to comfortable entertaining in the sunshine.”

The Squadron 78 has proved to be one of Fairline’s most enduring models ever, with more than 100 built since first being introduced in 2003.
