London Boat Show starts with a bang!

The latest news from the 2011 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show

The 2011 Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show started with a bang today when Jodie Kidd cut the ribbon in front of the new watersports action pool.

Crowds also flocked to catch a glimpse of X Factor runner up, Rebecca Ferguson, who was singing as part of the launch of the new Sunseeker Predator 115 and Manhattan 73.

Elsewhere, Sealine announced a new investment plan from parent company, Brunswick, which guarantees 8 all new boats in the pipeline.

They were also introducing us to the new SC42 sportscruiser.

On the Fairline stand, MD Derek Carter put an end to speculation about Fairline’s ownership situation, he says: “There has been a lot of speculation but there is nothing to speculate about and no imminent announcement to be made.

“We are still under ownership of 3i and I wouldn’t be surprised if we are for the next two quarters.”

The Princess 32M loomed impressively over the new Boardwalk feature; it is both the largest boat they have ever built and the biggest boat ever to be inside ExCeL.
