Manchester Cruising Association talks

Talks over the winter and spring - visitors welcome

Boaters in the Manchester area might like to put the following dates in their diary.

The Manchester Cruising Associations’ series of talks next year starts on 8 February and continues through to the spring.
The talks attract an audience of 60-80 to the association’s monthly meetings at the Lancashire County Cricket Club , Talbot Road, Trafford, Manchester, with speakers on cruising and maritime topics.
Their spring programme for 2007 is:

8 February: Keith Kimber & Tania Brown; Twice Round the World
8 March: Ian Hudson; 1421 – the Year China Discovered the World
19 April: Audrey Farr, RNLI; Train One, Save Many
10 May: Roger Brydges, MAIB; Marine Accident Investigation

The meetings start at 2000 and visitors are welcome for a small entrance charge. There is a bar from 1930 and plenty of safe parking on site. More details and the programme for the rest of the year can be found on their website at www.manca.org.uk)
