Maritimo 60

Aussie triple-decker with plenty up top

What they say
“The enclosed fly deck is not only warm and more comfortable, but also increases the living space by about 35% over the typical open flybridge boat of the same size.”

What we say
The marque has a strong nautical heritage and loyal following Down Under, but their flybridge isn’t the most beautiful thing in the world. Yet it is, as the dealers point out, hugely practical, especially in the UK’s climate, and increases the covered living space.

Elsewhere the boat looks immaculately put together and well thought-out, with sunken side decks for safety and three cabins sleeping six, with two bathrooms. The galley is intelligently situated aft with its own barbecue, while the engineroom has ample space to work in.

The 60 is reportedly up on the plane at 13 knots and has negligible lean, even if thrown into a tight corner.
