Mustang Cruisers UK expands its training scheme for new owners.

Aussie motorboat manufacturer Mustang Cruisers has bought Hampshire sea school Shearwater Sailing.

Mustang’s UK arm made the acquisition to consolidate its in-house training scheme for new customers.

The firm announced at the Southampton Boat Show that it would provide a three-day training and ICC package to all new owners.

The new operation will be known as the Mustang Boating Academy and will cater for all levels of experience.

Peter Clarke, MD of Mustang Cruisers UK, said: “Shearwater has a well-deserved reputation for the quality of its training and commitment to the customer, which complements our own brand values. We have ambitious expansion plans for Mustang Cruisers in the UK market and want our customers to get the most from our products when they take to the water.”
