Premier Marinas to offer a new dry dock system for boats up to 6.5m
Premier Marinas is introducing dry floating berths, at its Port Solent marina, allowing RIB and sportsboat owners the freedom of marina berthing, but with the easy maintenance associated with dry storage.
The RNLI has used the docking system, allowing them instant access to their RIBs whilst still allowing then to keep the boats out of the water.
Five Versadock berths will be installed to begin with, with berth holders simply driving their boats onto a floating platform.
Costs will be the same as for existing pontoon berths, so for a 21ft boat that is around £3000 a year, or £260 monthly.
