Nimbus and Paragon will have new owners

The Swedish-built boats will be at 2012 Southampton Boat Show

In July we reported that the Nimbus Group, owner of Nimbus boats and Paragon boats, filed for bankruptcy. But Chris Harridge of Offshore Powerboats, the longstanding importer of Nimbus and Paragon, told MBM that contracts are due to be signed at the end of August, allowing them to be at the Southampton Boat Show.
Chris told MBM, “We don’t yet know who is buying the company, but we do know that the administrators had 55 enquiries from all over the world.”

He added, “With new owners in place it will be business as usual. It was never in any doubt that the brands would disappear from the market and we are still handling high volumes of enquiries for both new and used boats.”

Offshore Powerboats will be taking a Nimbus 335 and 365, as well as a Paragon 31, to Southampton. See them on berths M222- 224.
