Production is well underway at Nordhavn’s partner factory in China, South Coast Marine, where the hull and deck have been joined and the engine beds are ready for the installation of the twin MTU M72 965hp engines.

The boat lays down a marker for Nordhavn in the superyacht sector and is aimed squarely at those who crave the luxuries of a 120ft 7in (36.75m) yacht but also really want to go places with their blue-water cruising.

The fit for purpose looks conceal an interior bursting with high quality design and execution.

The large windows in the hull treat the owner’s cabin to buckets of natural light whilst the master ensuite is equipped with a separate shower cubicle and a bath.

The main living area is split between a formal dining area forward and a more casual lounge section aft, both beautifully finished.

The boat can be heavily customised by prospective owners but the bed rock of a full displacement hull and 66,200 litre fuel capacity reveals the Nordhavn’s true colours.
