Prestige releases plans for new 72ft flagship

French builder to break 20m mark for first time

During recent press trials in Cannes, Prestige was showing off models of a planned flagship, the 720.

Featuring some vast glass areas to the hull and upperworks, the styling is certainly progressive.
A design collaboration between Prestige favourites Garroni and J&J, the 720 will feature four cabins, with the all-important master suite enjoying two tiers of hull-side glass. A one-level deck has the  saloon and cockpit separated by a combined galley and dining area.

Power will come from twin MAN diesel of between 800hp and 1200hp, with speeds of up to 28 knots expected.

Prestige has not suggested a launch date but the Cannes Boat Show, in September, looks a likely option.
