London’s towpaths are set for a major overhaul this winter.

Stretches of the Regent’s Canal in Hackney and Islington, and of the Grand Union Canal in Ealing and Brentford will be repaired and improved to attract more canal-users.

Transport for London funded the £850,000 works, carried out by British Waterways.
