The fifth RIBEX International Boat Show will take place at Ocean Village in Southampton between Friday 17 May and Sunday 19 May.

10,000 people are expected to attend over the three days. Exhibitors will be displaying the latest in RIBs and inflatables, inboard and outboard power houses, electronics, clothing, safety equipment, marine publications and much more.

Among the craft on the water ready and awaiting trial are:

  • The brand new 7.4m Osprey Seaharrier.
  • Recommended videos for you

  • The first showing at a UK show of a Protector RIB from Rayglass in New Zealand.
  • Scorpion RIBs will be launching their new 9m cabin RIB.
  • Some very special commercial craft built by Ocean Dynamics, Halmatic and Delta.
  • The Honda and Yamaha 225’s will be on the water powering various craft, along with the groundbreaking Suzuki 140.

    Also, the new 8.9m RIB from Cowes Inshore Lifeboat which went into operational service earlier this year will be displayed at RIBEX, Ocean Village Marina in Southampton, from the 17th to 19th May. As well as allowing members of the public access to the high performance RIB, powered by twin Yamaha F225hp outboards, Cowes Inshore Lifeboat will take part in man-overboard recovery demonstrations each day at the show.

    Doors open at 10am and ticket prices are £4.50. Concessions are available for families and anyone living in SO14 – SO19 postcodes.
