RNLI crew sent to rescue colleagues

All-weather lifeboat called after RNLI training exercise goes awry

An RNLI rescue crew were sent to the aide of their own colleagues after their boat capsized in the waters near Swansea.

The unfortunate volunteers were sent overboard when a wave toppled their inshore lifeboat during an exercise off the coast of Langland Bay.

By the time the Mumbles RNLI lifeboat and coastguard team reached them, the boat had righted itself and all three members had managed to climb aboard and restart it.
