MBY man gets lucky

This year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show press day provided a rare opportunity for visiting journalists to win a prize of their own when a very nifty new iPod-Touch, the latest music, games and video application from Apple, came up for grabs in celebration of Golden Arrow Marine’s launch of the new Caudwell Marine Diesel Engine.

The superb prize was won by Motor Boat and Yachting’s Rob Peake, who said, “I was absolutely stunned to win an iPod-Touch in the midst of PSP Southampton Boat Show press day madness, and very chuffed. I am looking forward to being able to surf YBW.com for all the latest boating news wherever I find a wi-fi link.”

The introduction of the new Caudwell Marine Diesel Engine follows the highly acclaimed launch of the Caudwell Axis Drive petrol engine earlier this year by Southampton based UK distributor, Golden Arrow Marine.

Commenting on behalf of Golden Arrow, Seb Freeman said, “This is the first time a single unit, high performance, super efficient diesel has been developed for the marine market and it is set to become another award winner.”
