Sandbanks Boat Show jets into Salterns Marina

Two big launches at Sandbanks Boat Show, which kicks off this Saturday

The Sandbanks Boat Show is playing host to two major new launches this weekend.

The free-to-enter show kicks off on Saturday 11 May at Salterns Marina in Poole with over 70 new boats on display, including the world debut of English Harbour Yachts.

This all-new motor boat brand is being launched by Fairline’s former design director Adam Greenwood.

Its first model is an open 16ft gentleman’s motor launch, which is due to be unveiled at the show. Larger variants will follow later in the year.

The other big surprise is the opening of the UK’s first Aquatic Jetpacks dealer.

The Salterns-based company, which already runs Jetski Safaris along Dorset’s Jurassic Coast will be offering sales, training and experiences on the new Flyboard jetpacks.

These water jet-powered boards connect to all makes of personal watercraft allowing the user to fly up to 12 metres above the water.

The show runs from 10am to 5pm daily on 11 and 12 May at Salterns Marina.
