VIPs from around the world are descending on Mandelieu La Napoule, situated just outside Cannes for the Sea Ray Rendezvous, reports Mike Wills from France. For the next two days guests can try new Sea Rays including the 560 extended flybridge cruiser and the 340 DA fitted with twin Mercruiser DTronics.

Also on show are two new Boston Whalers and the introduction of a racing thoroughbred series, the Baja. This range has new specifications designed to meet European expectations.

Sea Ray plan to open up three more yacht centres allowing customers to try new models at any time of year. New centres are planned for Asia and the Middle East as well as Rio, Brazil.
