British yard to exhibit its SC42i at imminent Michigan boat show
The office in Fort Lauderdale will also serve as the headquarters of Sealine Yachts America, a new enterprise aimed at cracking the big American motor boat market.
Bill Griffiths, president of the new division, said: “We are delighted to be returning to the US market with such a strong range of new models.
“We have carefully specified each model to include US electrical systems, large capacity refrigeration and the latest navigation and AV equipment.”
Sealine withdrew from the US in 2001 when the company was bought by giant US firm Brunswick to avoid competition with the new owner’s US brands.
American customers will get their first glimpse of one of the yard’s boats at the imminent Bay Harbour In-Water Boat Show, running from June 15-17, where Sealine will be exhibiting an SC42i.
And the next big boat launch from the Kidderminster yard, the F48 (above), will be on show at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show later in the year.
