Sealine splits with Peters Opal

The Kidderminster-based builder will partner instead with Ancasta

Sealine has ended its 18-month relationship with Peters Opal, and has partnered instead with boat dealer Ancasta, it was announced today.

The Midlands-based builder says it will see out its distribution contract with Peters Opal, which runs out on 31 August, just days before the Southampton Boat Show.

Ancasta’s 15 UK offices will start stocking new Sealines after that date. Three new dedicated Sealine outlets will also open on the south coast in partnership with Ancasta.

Sealine customers will also have access to the facilities of Hamble Yacht Services, which is part of the Ancasta group.

Seaine is the second big UK boatbuilder to split with Peters after Fairline ended its distribution deal with the company in 2005.
