Sealine’s SC38 launched

Duotone hull and 38 knots

Sealine’s first new craft for about 18 months was cause for celebration on the opening day of the London Boat Show.

The duotone blue and grey hull was unveiled to loud rock music and a circle of fireworks on Friday morning.

The SC38 is being touted as the ‘natural sucessor’ to the sportscruiser launched at London two years ago, the SC29, and indeed it features the same sliding cockpit roof which gives owners the option of a hardtop or open boat.

The boat has a double berth up front and a twin cabin at the rear, with a sizeable galley amidships.

With twin 225hp Volvo D4 diesels, the SC38 is priced from £218,585 inc VAT, but there is a 350hp option, giving a claimed 38 knots, for £243,847 inc VAT.
