Solo adventurer reaches east coast of Scotland

MBM reader Paul Churchley arrives in Inverness after transiting the Caledonian Canal

Paul Churchley, the MBM reader we’re tracking as he travels solo round Britain, has made it to the east coast.

After a month and a half braving some wild weather in his 21ft Merry Fisher 625, Paul has spent the last couple of days in the relatively quiet Caledonian Canal.

You can read all about Paul’s transit of this incredible waterway on his round Britain blog . You can also see photos that he’s uploading daily to the website.

Paul will spend a few days in Inverness resting up before heading on to Whitehills on 12 or 13 July, depending on the weather.
