Marine presence at the event growing daily
National Boat Shows have confirmed that Sunseeker London and Sunseeker International will be bringing three boats to The Marine Experience at the British International Motor Show, from 23 July – 3 August this year.
Boats are being exhibited for the first time at the summer show, which takes place at ExCeL, also the home of the London Boat Show.
Among other craft lined up for the event is Earthrace, which will be fresh from her attempt to break the Round the World Powerboat Record, currently underway.
The Sunseeker craft will be displayed as part of the ‘Ultimate Fleet’ section of the show, which aims to compliment the luxury brand car market, showcasing large luxury yachts alongside the Heritage Enclosure and Parade Ring, a celebration of Super Car tradition.
David Lewis, Managing Director of Sunseeker London, says: “This is an exciting project for Sunseeker and we are delighted to be involved.
“It’s a great opportunity to showcase ourselves to a whole new audience and we are pleased to be a part of this new idea.
“The show will take advantage of the favourable weather conditions and the presence of the boating industry will add to the overall style, glamour and excitement of the British International Motor Show.”
Robert Braithwaite, Managing Director of Sunseeker International, adds: “This event compliments our activity at NBS’ other Shows, Southampton and London, and we are looking forward to being a key part of this new initiative.”
Berth sales are also going well for the main marina with boats of all sizes and shapes signing up to exhibit at the Show, ranging from a Moody sailboat to motorboats from Glastron, Jeanneau and Doral.
NBS is also working on bringing some spectacular on-water action, including a leg of the Thundercats Grand Prix, and will be running its ever-popular, signature Try-a-Boat feature.
