Specially brewed beer will be offered at the Ramsgate Marina stand at ExCeL
“Sail in and see us” is the name of a specially brewed pale ale available to visitors to the Port of Ramsgate, Royal Harbour Marina stand at the London Boat Show.
The beer is being used to promote the 700-berth marina’s new website, which features both parts of Thanet Council’s maritime services – the Port of Ramsgate and the Royal Harbour Marina.
“The amalgamation of the former www.ramsgatemarina.co.uk website with the improved www.portoframsgate.co.uk website will create a dedicated website for port and marina users,” Thanet District Council said in a statement.
Councillor Bob Bayford, deputy leader of the council, said: “We wanted to give visitors to our stand at the London Boat Show something which would be memorable and would also promote our new and all inclusive website.”
He added: “Ramsgate really is a great place to be at the moment – it’s a town really on the up.”
