Two new models from Botnia Targa

Two new models from Botnia Targa: 32 CFC and the 44 Sport

Finnish yard Botnia Targa has announced two new models, which will hit the water next year.

The first, which will be released in January, is a CFC (Comfort Forward Cabin) version of the hugely popular 32 model.

The CFC variant has significantly increased headroom over its regular counterpart thanks to the raised foredeck area, which does away with the totally flat forward cockpit in favour of more space in the master cabin.

First introduced on the 35 and 37, then the 44 shortly afterwards, Botnia previously thought the CFC layout would not be possible on boats below 35ft but it has managed to add the arrangement to its current best seller, a smart move.

The other new model to be released is the 44 Sport (pictured top), a tweaked version of the 44, which for the first time ever will have sliding aft doors to accompany the familair pilot-stlye doors on either side of the wheelhouse.

Not only will this make moving between the indoor and outdoor spaces a lot easier it’s also likely to make the entire wheelhouse feel brighter and more roomy.

The 44 Sport will also have the option of an extended flybridge to offer more space on the top deck and some fixed protection over the cockpit.

The first boats with this treatment will leave the factory in the spring.
