Video: Bénéteau Flyer 6 new boat test in Palma

The new Bénéteau Flyer 6 is supposedly three boats in one. To find out exactly what that means, we sent Nick Burnham to Palma

When Bénéteau introduced the Flyer 6 at the Paris Boat Show last December, the French manufacturer described it as three boats in one.

Never one to take such claims at face value, Nick Burnham has been to Palma to take the new dayboat out onto the water and find out exactly what the Bénéteau team mean by this.

To be precise, the Flyer 6 is one boat that is available in three layouts, with a Sportdeck, a Spacedeck and a Sundeck option to choose from.

What they all have in common is the latest Bénéteau Air Step hull, which means that the going is smooth, even when the swell is regularly sending you airborne.

In our latest video, Nick gets to grips with the Sportdeck model, which was twinned with a 150hp Suzuki outboard engine.
