These big superstructure voids are not sealed, and with no soundproofing on many of the surfaces, the noise is free to escape at will.
According to Apreamare’s literature, “the boatyard continues to renew the osmotic relationship between the builder and the owner, a relationship capable of producing imperceptible moments or gigantic leaps”. Personally I’d choose Apreamares for their very impressive handling and Performance, the substantial construction, their beautiful teak decks, and their ability to customise so effectively. It is easy to miss the significance of the immense foredeck, but with their innovative semi-cabin and seating arRangement, I think that Apreamare have fundamentally changed the way the non-flybridge boat can be used – for the better. There are things which need sorting. Soundproofing aside though, these are largely design quirks on the 30. Apparently, “the religious element is ever present in the boatbuilder’s work”. I can’t quite see the hand of God in these boats, but they do have a tremendous amount going for them.
