Windy T52 Super Tender

Ed Dubois designed superyacht tender from Windy

No, we haven’t got the name wrong, this is a Windy and with a little help from yacht designer Ed Dubois, they’ve created their first tender.

It’s a pretty striking effort, we think you’ll agree and with the combination of seductive design and the driving dynamics that Windy are famous for, the T52 could be a favourite amongst the superyacht brigade.

As important as looks are on a boat like this the basics are all there as well, there is plenty of lounging space on the enormous aft sunpad so sun can still be soaked up on transfer from superyacht to quayside and the engine room is packed with triple Volvo Penta IPS600 engines, giving a top speed of around 46 knots.

The wide beam and spacious deck areas are perfect for a comfortable afternoon at anchor whilst the hydraulic bathing platform makes going for a dip as easy as possible and below decks there is a proper shower and double berth.

Windy claim that this boat kick starts their new generation of leaner and greener models, they have used vacuum injected mouldings to save weight and improve fuel efficiency, delivering a predicted range of 480 miles.
