Motor Boat & Yachting bagged the first test in the world of the most highly anticipated boat of the year, the Sunseeker Portofino 40.

The boat was tested under moody skies and in lumpy seas off Poole, the results of which you can see in the October 2012 issue of the magazine, out on September 6.
This boat sees a return for Sunseeker to building smaller boats and 40ft sportscruisers especially, where it really made its name.
Sunseeker says that accommodation is key on the Portofino 40 with acres of headroom and huge amounts of light from the strips of glass that run down both sides of the boat.
Of course, to truly uphold Sunseeker’s reputation the boat must drive well. Does it? Pick up the October 2012 issue to find out.
