Incredible video footage shows a drifting flybridge that got stuck on a submerged wall in the Oakland-San Francisco Bay

Six people and a dog had to be rescued from a drifting flybridge on the weekend after their vessel experienced engine problems and began to drift.

The boat came to a stop on a submerged wall in the Oakland-San Francisco Bay at around 1700 on Sunday (November 29).

At which point the Alameda Coast Guard was able to intervene and rescue all the passengers on board.

As you can see from this video footage, uploaded to YouTube by the BBC, the boat remained perched even after the tide went out.

No injuries were reported, according to local TV station KRON4. The owner eventually managed to retrieve the vessel, which can hopefully be saved from the scrap yard.

The make and model of the boat is unknown, however the owner may be regretting his decision to name it Gotcha.
