In our latest video, Jack Haines tries out the new North-Line 42 in the testing waters of the Wallen Sea
North-Line builds its boats with tough sea conditions in mind, so when we got a chance to test the new 42 model, choppy conditions were the order of the day.
In this video, Jack Haines heads to the Dutch city of Harlingen and crosses the Wallen Sea, heading for the island of Vlieland.
Equipped with twin 480hp Cummins diesel engines, this model has more than enough power to cut through the chop.
Jack finds that the smooth sea keeping comes at the expense of some spray rising over the bows, bringing the windscreen wipers into action.
Once safely moored up, we take a look at the layout options and the generous living quarters, which were clearly built with tall Dutchmen in mind.
Below decks, Jack inspects the cabins and the well-stocked galley, ideal for longer trips at sea.
