Princess announces its Cannes Yachting Festival line up featuring three global launches (promotional post)

The V60, Princess 70 and R35 will get their global premiere, whilst the V65 and V50 will be presented on water for the first time at the Cannes Yachting Festival, 11 - 16 September

The all-new Princess Yachts Princess V60, Princess 70 and the R35 will have their global premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival on September 11.

The new S78 and V50 which launched at boot Düsseldorf will make their on-water Cannes debut, along with four more yachts.

 

Princess V60

 

With its unique deep-vee hull and speed up to 38 knots, the Princess V60 is the latest addition to the award-winning V Class range.

Its open-plan saloon boasts a U-shaped sofa and electric sliding sunroof and leads to the aft galley with its generous L-shaped sofa and folding dining table. The sliding doors open out to the large cockpit which features a wetbar with barbecue and coolbox, where guests can dine al fresco, relax on the sunpad, or enjoy watersports from the bathing platform. The spacious foredeck has a seating area and forward sunbathing area with the option of a large sun awning.

Below, there are three cabins to sleep 6 guests. The owners stateroom features a sofa, generous storage and a private ensuite, whilst the forward double cabin and starboard twin cabin with optional electric sliding bunks share the forward ensuite. There is also an option for a single crew cabin with ensuite and storage.

Princess V60 cabin

Modern design, hand-stitched upholstery, curved furniture and generous lighting give the V60 a luxurious and relaxing feel.

Princess 70

 

Efficient cruising capability and a modern and elegant design define the new Princess 70, the latest addition to the brand’s Flybridge class.

The generous 26.6m2 flybridge features a large U-shaped dining area, a fully- equipped wetbar with barbecue, aft sunpad and a forward seating area adjacent to the helm which can be converted into a sunbed.

On the main deck, the aft galley opens out towards the cockpit, allowing for al fresco dining, whilst the saloon boasts a more formal dining table which can be split into two separate spaces, thanks to large glass sliding doors.

Large panoramic windows let natural light in and offer stunning views of the world outside. The foredeck is ideal for relaxing with a forward facing sofa, optional coffee table, and a large sun pad,

Forward in the saloon are two more seating areas, with an entertainment system and a 49” LED TV. From the helm station, equipped with Raymarine touchscreens and plotters, the helmsman can have easy access to the side decks thanks to a pantograph door.

The lower deck boasts windows with opening portholes throughout and offers four cabins: a full beam master stateroom amidships with a private staircase, a forward VIP guest cabin and two twin cabins.

The Princess 70 is equipped with MAN V12 1,400hp engines and can achieve lower planing speeds while still reaching up to 36 knots.

 

Princess V50

Princess V50 on Water

 

Launched at the Düsseldorf Boat Show, the V50 makes its on-water debut at Cannes. This spacious model from the V Class range is defined by her deep-vee hull and large hull windows, which let plenty of natural light into the saloon and cabins.

The main deck exterior spaces feature the new V Class metallic grey and graphite grey metallic finish across cockpit furniture including the wetbar, canopy and superstructure.

There is the option of an enclosed or open main deck with L-shaped seating or sunpad aft leading to the large, airy saloon and helm station.

Princess V50 interior

The electro-hydraulic bathing platform offers easy access to the water to enjoy watersports and the garage on the V50 Open can accommodate a 3.25m tender.

The lower deck boasts a full beam master stateroom, a forward cabin with the option of scissor-action berths and a saloon, which can be used as an entertaining space or converted into to a double berth. There is also an option of a third cabin in this area.

Equipped with twin Volvo Penta IPS600 engines, the Princess V50 can reach speeds up to 32 knots.

 

Princess V65

Reaching speeds of up to 38 knots, the modern and elegantly designed Princess V65 boasts a spacious cockpit with a sunpad and well-equipped dining area, which leads to the comprehensive aft galley. This flexible deck saloon model can be climate controlled or opened to the elements via sliding doors and a retractable sunroof.

Below decks, eight guests can be accommodated in four cabins, all enjoying natural light thanks to the hull glazing. Three cabins come with ensuites with the starboard one having day heads access. There is also the option of a further cabin aft for occasional guests or crew.
