London Boat ShowThe London Boat Show is the UK’s biggest indoor boat show, which takes place in January each year.

It has been hosted at the Excel Centre in the Docklands since 2004, and normally attracts more than 90,000 visitors across ten days.

However it’s history stretches back to 1956, with previous incarnations of the show taking place at Kensington Olympia and Earls Court.

The 2016 edition of the London Boat Show will take place from January 8-17 and will include major boat manufacturers such as Prestige and Princess Yachts.

Confirmed boats so far include the Sunseeker 131, Princess 75, Prestige 680, Rodman 890 Ventura and Anytec 747 Cab.

The show spans two weekends and starts with press preview day on a Friday. Discount tickets are available to lure punters in on the quieter days of Monday-Wednesday.

Ticket prices have not yet been announced, however last year’s event cost £15 per adult and £12 for concessions, while children aged 15 and under were free.

The London Boat Show only uses half of the Excel Centre and as a result, visitors can also get combined tickets that include entrance concurrent shows, such as the Telegraph Cruise Show and London Classic Car Show.
