Ancasta Easter Collection set to return for 2015

Brokerage chain Ancasta has announced that this year’s Easter Collection event will run from 3-12 April

Boat brokerage firm Ancasta has confirmed that its Easter Collection event will be returning for a second year.

Launched last year as an alternative to the traditional used boat show format, the Ancasta Easter Collection is Europe’s biggest brokerage event. The 2015 edition will run from 3-12 April.

Boats listed for sale in any of Ancasta’s 11 UK branches before the event are automatically included in the firm’s collection, which is promoted both online and in the Easter Collection brochure.

During the ten-day event, Ancasta is promising “generous buyers’ incentives”. These are yet to be announced, but last year’s sweeteners included reimbursed survey and lift costs, half-price berthing fees for a year, 12 months’ free Sea Start, free relaunch, and a holiday on the first month’s mortgage payment.

Will Blair from Ancasta is expecting a high level demand for viewings during this year’s event: “Last summer’s weather has helped – a lot of people want to get on the water this year.”

Ancasta has 15 offices across Europe, trading in both new and used motoryachts and sailing yachts. It’s most recent brokerage event, the Ancasta Autumn Collection, included more than 400 boats for sale.

And while the firm’s brokers specialise in the Beneteau, Prestige and Lagoon ranges, all makes and models will be eligible for inclusion in the Ancasta Easter Collection.
