Marina D'Arechi now open for business in southern Italy

One of the most ambitious marina developments of recent years has opened for business in southern Italy.
Marina D'Arechi, just to the south of Salerno, cost €120 million to build and will soon have capacity for 1,000 boats.
The first 400 berths are now available following a glittering opening ceremony earlier in June.
Marina manager Anna Cannavacciuolo said: "We say that anyone who buys a boat slip [at the marina] is buying a fabulous holiday for the same price.
"Among other things, the marina is close to unique places like Capri, Amalfi, Positano and Cilento."
