Baglietto launches MV13 camouflaged motor boat

The first Baglietto MV13 has been launched, with the owner opting for a camouflaged motor boat design that is sure to turn heads

Baglietto is one of the oldest shipyards in Italy, but there is nothing traditional about its latest launch – the MV13 camouflaged motor boat.

The first of its kind, Lap 1 was launched in La Spezia recently and will certainly stand out on the water, with its five-shade design, covered by a matt lacquer finish.

This pattern by Francesco Paszkowski is found throughout, including the detailing on the roll cage, gangway and anti-slip flooring.

Baglietto explained that the MV line “draws its inspiration from underwater assault vehicles”, which partly explains the military overtones of this camouflaged motor boat.

A second MV13, called Lap 2, is also under construction at the Baglietto shipyard in La Spezia, the company added.

Baglietto is best known for its 30M+ superyachts, but this garish day boat design is likely to garner quite a few admirers, as this style is highly fashionable amongst young Italian boaters.
